Zeno Youth Ranch, a social welfare corporation in Fukuyama, Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan

-Believe in tomorrow and move forward without limits-
Social Welfare Organization Zeno Shounen Bokujou was founded in 1962 in Numakuma, Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan, based on the wish of its founder, the late Friar Zeno Zebrowski, to "create a paradise for children with disabilities".
Zeno Shounen Bokujou was established with the support of many people who shared the spirit of Zeno's belief that "We are all created equal" and it now provides welfare services for people with intellectual disabilities, infants, and children in three areas: Numakuma-cho and Kannabe-cho in Fukuyama City, Hiroshima Prefecture, and Ibara City in Okayama Prefecture.
In addition to providing welfare services, we also value our ties with the local community and are involved in activities such as watching over children and the elderly, as well as creating safe and welcoming spaces for children.
In 2021, We established a non-governmental organization (NGO) to support individuals in Vietnam who have faced socioeconomic barriers to learning the Japanese language, and to further promote welfare initiatives.

About the projects
We have been a registered NGO since 2021.

Japanese Language Classes
We provide Japanese language classes for people who want to learn Japanese but have not had the opportunity due to poverty or other challenges.
These classes aim to help participants pass certifications such as the Japanese Language Proficiency Test(JLPT), and those who pass are supported in finding work in Japan, upon request.
Improving support Skills
We offer study sessions on Japanese support techniques for people who are currently working to support children and adults with disabilities.
The goal is for participants to provide better support by combining the support methods they have learned in Vietnam with those they have learned in the study sessions.

Human resource development (training in Japan, etc.)
The program targets people currently supporting children and adults with disabilities, aiming to broaden their perspectives through on-the-job training at facilities in Japan and to empower them to provide better support to children and adults with disabilities in Vietnam.
Other Activities
We engage in activities that address local challenges and work towards finding solutions.
